After several years of being on the road as professional musician, Gary Shelton and Wayne Allen decided to return to Mountain Home and raise their families. Missing playing in a band again, they decided to start their own. They named it Hot Ice. Their song list at that time was comprised of funk, disco and rock. As time went by, the public's taste changed and their's did too. Classic rock was what everybody wanted to hear. Now it has changed again and they are playing classic rock, southern rock and country.

Over the years they have played with some of the best musicians and singers in the area. They wish to thank them all.

"I've been fortunate enough to play music since the age of ten and it has helped me cross many boundries in my life."
Musical influences include John Fogerty, Clapton, Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughn to name a few.

The band's newest member, Mike Lawrence, plays guitar, keyboards and sings.
